Flare

AKC Titles: Master Hunter (MH), AKC Conformation Pointed
NAVHDA Titles: Utility Prize III, Natural Ability Prize I

Flare joined our family at just over a year old, arriving with her NAVHDA Natural Ability title already under her belt. From there, we stepped into the field together, hunting hard and training her through to her AKC Master Hunter title and NAVHDA Utility testing.

In the field, Flare handles beautifully with a practical, close-to-medium hunting range. She is an exceptional natural retriever and possesses an incredible knack for tracking down and recovering wounded birds. Flare is an absolute wild bird specialist with a deep resume; here at home in North Dakota, she handles sharp-tailed grouse, pheasant, and Hungarian partridge with ease. Over the last few years, she has also traveled down south to tackle multiple species of quail and chukar. With a drive that continues to intensify every year, Flare features a protective, medium-to-long correct coat built for heavy cover.

Flare is retired from our breeding program after giving us 2 wonderful litters of puppies which both received NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder Awards.
